Matt Hoffman is currently the VP, People at DigitalOcean, the world's most simple cloud for developers and one of the fastest-growing startups in NY. He joined DO in April of 2015 and in that time has helped scale the company from 70 to almost 300 employees. Matt is responsible for leadership in the practice areas of talent acquisition, talent development, people operations and employee experience. Prior to DigitalOcean, Matt was Sr. Director of People Operations at Return Path, a global leader in email solutions, and one of the most innovative people-focused companies in the country. In 2014 Return Path was named the #2 Best Place to Work in the US by Fortune Magazine. Matt has also held a number of HR and People leadership roles at several Fortune 500 companies.
About Our Guest Presenter, Lyndsey Hannigan
Lyndsey Hannigan currently leads the Talent Development team at DigitalOcean. She and her teammates are responsible for dreaming up and bringing to life the innovative organizational performance and learning programs that set DigitalOcean apart from others in the tech industry. Before joining DigitalOcean, Lyndsey worked as a consultant at both KPMG and the Refinery Leadership Partners, where she delivered cutting-edge leadership development programming and change advisory services. She holds degrees from The University of Queensland (Brisbane, AUS) and Queen's University (Kingston, CAN).
